Dairy
farming

HERE
IS a little bit more on dairy farming.
The information has to do with technology
used in this farming system.
*
Artificial insemination ensures the
availability of high quality animals.
There is no need for bulls.
*
Embryo transfer results in a better
breed of animal. This comes about
as the embryo from a superior cow
is put in an inferior cow, which carries
it to maturity.
*
Electronic market involves electronic
identification of the animal. A microchip
is placed under the skin of the animal.
This in turn provides information
on the animal.
*
Electronic tag allows the gate to
the milking shed to open, when the
animal goes to milk. The computer
tells how much feed should be given
to the cow as well as the amount of
milk the animal gives. The amount
of milk is automatically weighed and
recorded. The animal is let out after
milking. However, if the milk is less
than the usual amount that the animal
gives, it is sent elsewhere for checking
in order to determine the cause for
the decline in its milk production.
Let
me share with you some sections of

on this farming system.
