Greenhouse
gases (lesson 26)
Marjorie Henry, Contributor
Before
I give you a few multiple choice items
as promised, here are some more tips
on working through the items to arrive
at the correct answer.
- Do
make sure that you understand the
STEM before attempting an answer.
- Examine
the OPTIONS carefully and, at the
same time, quickly.
- Shade
the letter of that option you choose
for the correct answer, that is,
the key, on the given answer sheet.
As
I had indicated in the last lesson,
paper one has 60 items. The time allotted
for this paper is one and a half hours.
It therefore means that you have at
most, a minute and a half for each
question. If you can work through
most answers within a minute, you
will have some time at the end to
review your answers and make corrections
if necessary. Aim for this.
Your
multiple choice paper is a test of
skills, as related to map reading
and recall or knowledge. You must
prepare properly for it as you do
for the essay paper - Paper II. DO
NOT go 'lucky dipping' or guessing.
Here are some multiple choice items
I have constructed, all testing greenhouse
gases, a relatively new topic on the
syllabus.

gas?
A)

used in the manufacture of refrigerators
is called:

and could become the most significant
greenhouse gas is
