Poe Han Thar Kyaw, Youthlink Writer In economics there exists a principle called the law of diminishing marginal utility. It basically states that the more one consumes something, the less he/she enjoys that thing. For example, a couple weeks ago I tried a sour candy which was so good that I kept on eating it. After a while, it was no longer satisfying but I continued to eat it till my tongue got so numb that I could taste nothing. This doesn't just happen with candy, it happens with drinks, food and a myriad of things, especially relationships.
