"We shine bright like a diamond!" was repeatedly chanted by the ladies of Frome Technical High School, even as the sun beamed like a spotlight upon them.

With a number of students entering the singathon competition, Frome seemed determined to have at least one of its students singing among the crème de la crème in the final competition.
